Mr.Jeevandas Narayan, Managing Director of State Bank of Travancore (SBT) visited Kuwait as part of his tour of the Gulf countries.
Mr. Jeevandas Narayan, started his banking career in 1978 and held various key assignments across various Circles of the Bank and at the Corporate Centre of the Bank situated at Mumbai. He has held positions, such as Regional Head of SBI Capital Markets Ltd. at Bengaluru, General Manager, Human Resources and Mergers in State Bank of India. Mr. Narayan was the Chief General Manager of SBI, Patna Circle covering the states of Bihar and Jharkhand, before moving to Kerala, as Managing Director, SBT.
As part of the programme, he visited and held meetings with the Chairman and Top Management of Kuwait India International Exchange Company in the Corporate Office of the Company. During the meeting, new ideas and options, focused on rendering more value added services to customers, were discussed. Incidentally, Mr. Jeevandas Narayan worked in the Company during the 1980’s on deputation from State Bank of India (SBI), when the Company was co-owned and formally managed by SBI.
