ONLINE REMITTANCES

  • Am I eligible for registering for use of this service ?
    Any person holding a valid Civil ID card issued by Govt of Kuwait can register with us for the use of this service. This service is open to all.

  • How can I Register for this service ?

  • Do I need to visit your office for registration ?
    Yes. It is legally required that we obtain written application from you for accessing the on line web site. It also gives us an opportunity to verify all the details of the cards that you will be using so that the remittances flow smoothly.

  • Is this service really FREE ?
    Yes. There are absolutely no extra charges for the use of this service.

  • How do I get special rates when I send large amounts ?
    The software programme is designed to automatically give discounted rates as per our company policy. Therefore, you can use this facility confidently.

  • I am worried that I may make some mistake while sending transaction on-line. How can you help me ?
    The programme is simple and user-friendly. You can contact us on phone at any time while you are on-screen and we can guide you.

  • How safe is the remittance process ?
    Remittance from our site is as safe as your visiting us personally for these reasons : 

    a. We do not permit remittance of money to beneficiaries not authorised by you. So your money cannot be sent to anyone other than those approved by you. We also web enable only those cards which have full account details of the beneficiary. Remittances will therefore carry the bank account details of the beneficiary. 

    b. We do not ask you to enter your PIN in our site ever. The PIN Number is entered by you directly in the K-Net site or in some cases your own banks’ site. We do not therefore see or receive or store the PIN Number in our system. 

    c.We still use a secured site to ensure that even the normal details entered by you are encrypted by your web browser and sent to our web server.

  • Can I use this service when I am out of Kuwait on a visit ?
    Yes. You can use it from anywhere in the world at any time. However, you should comply with laws applicable in those countries where you are accessing from.

  • Can I remit money to those people whose (beneficiary) details I have not registered ?
    NO. As a security measure we DO NOT permit remittances to any one for whom there is no prior validated beneficiary record. Of course you are free to send a secured on-site message to us requesting addition of a new beneficiary record. We will verify the details and create a new beneficiary record for you which you can then start using.

ON-LINE SECURITY

  • Is it safe to enter my KNET secret number on the WEB ?
    It is safe, provided that it is done in a secure way. You should verify that you are connected to the secure site of the company to whom you want to make payment. You must check the browser’s Padlock symbol that the you are transacting with our company only. Once you opt to make payment through K-Net, your browser will take you to K-Net payments page. You must also verify that you are actually connected to the K-Net payment gateway. and only after that enter the bank and card details.

  • How do I know that I am connected to Kuwait India Exchange company only ?
    You will find a “Padlock Lock” symbol in the status bar of your browser; Click on it; It should show you a certificate issued by Thawte. Check that the certificate indicates the name of our company and the URL is online.kuwaitindiaexchange.com

  • Will the KNET PIN number I type be recorded by you ?
    No. The secret 4 digit pin number you enter will not be seen or recorded by anyone in our company. In fact, you will be entering it directly on the KNET company’s secured site or in case of non-KNET card, in you Bank’s site.

  • How fast can my remittance be credited to my account with SBI ?
    If your account is with selected branches of SBI, it could be done within MINUTES !!! We have direct credits and electronic transfers to suit your requirements.
